The Dr Kershaw's Hospice project was a very rewarding piece of work that we hope made a positive difference to the people using the hospice, their loved ones, and the wonderful staff team that work there. Dr Kershaw’s provides care for those facing life limiting illnesses and is set in peaceful grounds in Royton in Oldham.

We were asked to design, manufacture, and install a full signage and branding package throughout the hospice, including internal and external signage. The hospice has grown considerably since it opened in 1989, and the buildings include a mixture of older and newer spaces that can be difficult to navigate around if you are unfamiliar with the layout and various spaces. This made it imperative that we provide interior and exterior wayfinding signage that helped people using the hospice find their way easily.

It was also important that the signage that we designed was in keeping with their existing corporate guidelines, and fitted seamlessly into the warm, calm, and caring ambience of the many spaces in the hospice. We worked closely with hospice staff to ensure that the installation phase of the project was as fast, efficient, and unobtrusive as possible for both service users and staff.

From the point that the client signed off on the artwork designs that we produced, the remaining manufacture and installation segments of the project were completed within four weeks.
