Suitable for indoor and outdoor usage, Foamex is a solid plastic board that’s made from compressed foam and offers a more robust option to Correx. Because it isn’t corrugated the print surface is smoother for a cleaner print finish. Foamex is an inexpensive material that can be used to create long-term indoor signage, and medium-term outdoor signage. It is strong yet lightweight, as well as being weather-resistant. We stock Foamex in three thicknesses (3mm/5mm/10mm) and can print your Foamex sign to one or two sides. There are a range of optional laminate choices available for your printed foam board sign, and you can choose to have your board pre-drilled for quick and easy installation.

Foamex Signs - A Great Medium-Term Signage Solution

Foamex signs are a popular option for those looking for inexpensive indoor or outdoor signage that is lightweight yet sturdy. It will last indefinitely indoors but it is most commonly used as medium-term signage outdoors. The compressed foam that it is made from creates a smooth surface for sharp print results, and its solid form and weather-resistant qualities make it a great choice for outdoor usage (although we don’t recommend it for permanent outdoor signage).

Your printed foam board comes in three thicknesses – 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm – with the most popular choice being the 5mm option which retains the lightweight quality of 3mm and rivals the 10mm thickness for robustness. You can supply your own sign design or use our professional design service. Our foam board signs are printed in high resolution using full-colour weather-resistant inks in vibrant colours that won’t fade or run.

Foamex signs are a great low-cost option for semi-permanent outdoor signage suitable for anything from outdoor product and event advertising, to permanent indoor signage and advertising boards. We can supply Foamex in custom sizes to suit your exact requirements, and you can choose between a range of finishing options such as pre-drilled holes for mounting and square or rounded corners.
